His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, , launched a national initiative for long-term building a green economy in the UAE under the slogan "green economy for sustainable development" aims through the UAE to be a world leader in this area and a center for export and re-export of products and green technologies in addition to maintain a sustainable environment supports economic growth, this initiative includes a range of programs and policies in the areas of energy, agriculture, investment and sustainable transport in addition to environmental policies and new urban aims to raise the quality of life in the state.
In this context, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, stressed that the UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, seeks to be a global hub and a successful model of the green growth as to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability development that maintains an environment for future generations.
