Mr. Mohamed Al Hameli, Acting-Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi inaugurated the Health Shield Medical Center. This visit by the Department of Health comes within the framework of support for the private sector, which is playing a vital role in providing integrated and specialized healthcare services in compliance with the best international standards. The Abu Dhabi government considers the healthcare sector a top priority and improving it is an integral component towards achieving Abu Dhabi's Vision 2030. The official opening saw the attendance of His Excellency Abdul Hamid Saeed (CEO FAB), His Excellency Jassim Sadiqqi (Chairman ADCG) and His Excellency Saeed Eid Alghfali, alongside a number of senior officials from Capital Health. Health Shield is just one of the medical centers that Capital Health operates. The private healthcare group is building state-of-the-art facilities, attracting and retaining qualified medical staff as well as investing in and using advanced medical technologies to provide quality healthcare to the residents of Abu Dhabi. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, Mr. Al Hameli and the attendees toured the new facility where they were introduced to the various services and latest technologies facilitating the ultimate in care for patients and their families. |
