Etisalat Academy To Bring The First International Talent Conference To Abu Dhabi


Etisalat Academy Today Announced That It Is To Organise The First International Talent Conference, Which Will Take Place In Abu Dhabi At The Emirates Palace Hotel On The 5th And 6th Of November 2008










Etisalat Academy today announced that it is to organise the first International Talent Conference, which will take place in Abu Dhabi at the Emirates Palace Hotel on the 5th and 6th of November 2008. The conference comes under the theme - “New methods to source develop and retain talent”. The conference is sponsored by Etisalat and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A number of international companies from the UK, USA and Australia will also be participating in the event. H.E. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, will give the keynote speech at the conference, in which he will highlight the importance of executive talent as the back bone of corporate excellence. The conference will host Larry Hochman, International Consultant, European Union, who will speak about the most important strategies and talent management tools and their role in developing potential human resources. He will also explain how to maintain excellence and suitable working environments to help develop talent and prepare future leaders. Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager, Etisalat Academy, said: “This event is a new highlight in the training and HR calendar. It will complement topics raised in ‘The 2nd Seminar in the Quest for Excellence’ that was hosted by The Etisalat Academy’s eCompetency Centre last June. This International Executive Talent Conference agenda is designed to answer the many challenges involved in organizational excellence.” Mariam Mohammed, eCompetency Center Manager, said: “The First International Executive Talent Conference, is an important event that hosts international leading companies, and will discuss methods of developing and retaining talents in both public and private sector.” Etisalat Academy recently hosted ‘The 2nd Seminar in the Quest for Excellence’ which was attended by senior executives from federal government, ministries and public sector companies. The event raised many important discussion points including developing executive talents that will be discussed intensively in the upcoming conference in November.
