Flash and Live Nation are proud to announce that Grammy Award winning Coldplay will make their Middle East debut performance in Abu Dhabi on Saturday March 28th 2009 at the Emirates Palace Hotel.
The one-off show from the award winning foursome comes as the final stop on the world tour for their critically acclaimed fourth album, ‘Viva Le Vida’ which has earned the band three Grammys at this year’s Grammy Awards .
After surfacing in 2000 with the breakthrough single "Yellow," Coldplay quickly became one of the biggest bands of the new millennium. The band’s current album “Viva La Vida” is the most commercially successful rock album released this decade and has earned the band seven nominations at this year’s Grammys Awards including Album of the Year. The rest of the nominations include best rock album, best rock song (Viva La Vida), and pop and rock performance accolades.
