3rd Phase Of Members Services Center Opened











His Excellency Engineer Salah Salem bin Omeir Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry president of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry opened yesterday morning at the Chamber premises the Member Services Center - services with a new concept - with the participation of 8 government and private organizations and bodies, the total number of which reached 26 official and private institutions under one roof to serve the members and businessmen, investors, companies and institutions, in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Sultan Al Nuaimi, director of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of their excellencies the Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to the State and the members of board of the Chamber and HE Mohammed Rashed Al Hameli, director general of the Chamber and a number of executives in the federal ministries and departments of local councils and the heads of Arab and foreign business councils working in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as well as representatives of leading companies and institutions operating in the emirate. The new Member Services Center, which provides a number of new services developed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abu Dhabi to facilitate and simplify procedures and to obtain commercial licenses and a number of other services in record time and in an atmosphere of professional-quality features as the new center seating capacity provides more than 26 overall services from ministries and departments, institutions and corporate services through the Integrated Services Center i.e. Department of Planning& Economy ,the Notary public of Justice - Department of Justice in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, Emirates Telecommunications, "Etisalat" and Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company "du" , the Naturalization and Residency Department in Abu Dhabi ,the Department of Licensing and traffic ,the Emirates gate , the electronic identity of the UAE ,Emirates Post, Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi National Bank. During the third phase , the following institutions joined the offices of the Center : the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ,the Ministry of Economy, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority and the Department of Customs Services , Environment Agency , Abu Dhabi Securities Market and Abu Dhabi sea ports company. Those official and private institutions render their services through enabling clients and users of services by limiting their time and effort through a single window and integrated multi-service. HE Eng Salah Salem bin Omeir Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Chamber said that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is witnessing significant developments and changes rapidly, especially with the restructuring of the public sector that requires that we strengthen our efforts to provide better services to investors, businessmen and companies wishing to practice the business and service in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. He added that creating the Member Services center is in the context of the development of chamber services and an initiative to serve our members and the provision of time and effort and all that they would need to continue their work and success in the private sector which plays a major and pivotal role in the process of overall economic development in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in particular and the State in general. HE said that the center would facilitate the procedures and support the work and activities of companies and institutions in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi through the provision of outstanding, efficient ,and high quality services to members ,in addition to attracting investors and helping them to take advantage of investment opportunities available in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and provide the necessary information and facilities required, in addition to providing advice on how to establish projects and the of formal and legal procedures needed . HE Engineer Salah Salem bin Omeir Al-Shamsi affirmed that the Chamber is looking forward to always keep pace with economic developments and the level of development and evolution of the business community in Abu Dhabi to be able to contribute in advancing development and growth forward in cooperation with all institutions and government and private agencies involved in this area . His Excellency Mohammed Rashed Al Hameli, director general of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the modernization of existing services and new services by the chamber is to keep pace with developments and economic trends for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which aims to provide a model investment environment for investors, companies and institutions from various countries in the world, making the Emirate of Abu Dhabi preferred investment destination for these institutions and international companies, expressing his thanks and appreciation to all departments and official institutions and companies that provide services through the Center. The Director-General of the chamber pointed out that the services provided by the Chamber are obvious in the implementation of electronic trade licensing procedures through the Internet, and the chamber is also receiving inquiries by the Chamber members, and receive e-mails from all interested people seeking response on the activation of the Abu Dhabi e-services and follow-up, and the organization of seminars for members and updating and addition of commercial activities, and follow-up of the periodic updating of database of members and employers and provide information on tenders and commercial agencies and the provision of specialized economic publications and issue certificates to those interested (Arabic / English) and the ratification of the validity of signatures, and the issuance of certificates of origin, as well as lists of companies and institutions registered by their activity, printing of commercial contracts, , the amendment to the license or concession such as the sale or cancellation, the amendment to the title of the institution or company, and the amendment to the phone numbers, fax, e-mail or mailbox. His Excellency Mohammed Al Hameli added that the Center is to issue a businessman / businesswoman card ,which is a formal document issued by the Chamber for the acknowledgement of a businessman / woman, known personally to the official governmental bodies, embassies and is issued for each businessman /woman, provided that the owner or partner has at least one valid membership for a period of not less than one month from the date of the request. The character of the businessman / woman card , is a business card and credit card payment through the crossing of the UAE e-portal. In addition to value-added services of the Etihad airline tickets for a special rate of 15% and the use of diamond Counter-class and the degree of Lulu Abu Dhabi Airport and priority given to the owner of the card in a secure bookings and special reservation and many other features. HE Al Hameli added that the aim of Business Link, which is one of the innovative initiatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abu Dhabi is to serve the investors and entrepreneurs in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It provides Business Link services to entrepreneurs and investors through the provision of management consulting and information on investment opportunities and areas of investment and assistance in the search for a partner or agent services, and the recruitment of cadres and a number of important services for the development of their work.
