Organised by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), the inaugural edition of the Manarat Al Saadiyat Ramadan Evenings is set to take place from 4th to 17th June 2017, offering a wide range of unique cultural experiences during the Holy Month of Ramadan through a variety of culinary experiences, creative activities, retail opportunities, performances and workshops.
The evenings will celebrate the holy month through the distinctive lens of Emirati culture, providing a vibrant selection of interactive activities for guests and visitors of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy. Reflecting the distinctly local aspect of an Emirati Ramadan, the evenings will create an engaging atmosphere of cultural celebration across multiple forms of artistic expression.
HE Saif Saeed Ghobash, Director General of TCA Abu Dhabi, said: "Manarat Al Saadiyat Ramadan Evenings is a community event that will encourage individuals and families to share unique experiences together and enjoy an inspiring daily programme that reflects the Emirati culture, and includes activities such as live musical recitals, workshops, and food and retail offerings inspired by our heritage and traditions."
Manarat Al Saadiyat Ramadan Evenings will provide a new opportunity for the audience to explore a uniquely cultural interpretation of Ramadan that draws from core concepts reflective of the UAE’s heritage.
