Abu Dhabi Housing Authority Annuls Housing Loans Of AED16 Million Due To Death Of Debtors











The Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, ADHA, has decided during its second meeting for 2017 to exempt 21 citizens from repaying loans of a total value of AED16 million in accordance with the exemption criteria of the authority, due to the death of the debtors.

The board was also briefed on the residential units and plots by the Statistics Centre- Abu Dhabi and the Federal Demographic Structure Council.

Chaired by Saeed Eid Al Ghafli, Chairman of the ADHA, the board members discussed the fiscal year report ended 31st December, 2016, and approved the appointment of an external auditor to verify the financial statement.

The board was briefed on the proposed residential amenities from 2017- 2021 in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain region.

The meeting was attended by the board members and other officials.

ADHA works on the development and implementation of housing programmes for citizens, and proposes housing rules and legislations. It also maintains housing database of citizens, and identifies tools and frameworks to engage the private sector towards the achievements of ADHA's vision and aspirations.
