First Abu Dhabi Bank Named Official Bank Of FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX

 First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB),  the UAE's largest bank and one of the world's largest and safest financial institutions, has been announced as the Official Bank of the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX.

The exclusive two-year partnership will begin with the 2017 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit in November.

Drivers who finish the final race of the season in first, second and third position will be awarded with a trophy specially supplied by FAB as they take their place on the winners' podium.

FAB will also provide the Constructors' Trophy, which will be presented to this year's winning F1® team, which has been specially designed to feature FAB's 'Arwal' logo.

The partnership will also see FAB exclusively supply and operate all 14 ATMs that will be used by 60,000 racegoers and special guests across the Circuit over the weekend.

In the deal, FAB will also enjoy exclusive bank category sponsorship, with its branding positioned around the track to give FAB the best exposure to F1®  fans across the globe.

The public will be able to get the full FAB banking experience at a retail activation based in the F1® Fanzone during the biggest sporting and entertainment weekend of the year.

After signing the deal in an official ceremony at FAB's headquarters in Abu Dhabi, Abdulhamid Saeed, Group Chief Executive Officer of FAB, said: "The FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX is without doubt one of the largest events on the regional sports calendar.

The partnership between Yas Marina Circuit and FAB supports FAB's 'Growing Stronger' movement.
