ADEK: 100 Teams Of Innovators Compete Over The Distinctive Project Winner Title


25 government and private organizations also presented their innovative ideas and projects on the Abu Dhabi Corniche.










 The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) confirmed that 100 teams of innovators from all over the country, with 25 government and private organizations from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi are showcasing their innovative ideas and projects.

The event is happening as part of Abu Dhabi initiatives for the UAE Innovation Month, being held on the Abu Dhabi Corniche until 7th February 2018.

Innovator 2018 is a key platform for innovators which celebrates creative ideas and projects; it offers an opportunity for talented visionaries from the UAE community to highlight their unique creations of contributes to the establishment of a culture of innovation in the nation.

The initiative attracts those of common interest to communicate and share their inventions and innovations to the wider community. Participants showcasing their talent and projects will be assessed on quality, originality, innovation and social impact criteria’s by a judging panel. The distinctive project award will have six winners, five selected by the judges and one by the public.

Participants expressed their gratitude for Innovator 2018, as they thanked ADEK for offering them with the opportunity to partake and present their innovations and creations to the community.  Innovators emphasized that such initiatives contribute to creating a conducive environment to work, innovate and excel.

ADEK’s Innovation Club is presenting a range of innovations including “Formula 1”, “Laser Cutting”, 3”D Printer”, “Football Robot”, and a variety of inventions from across the nation including “Virtual Garden", “Palm Robot” (Robotics), Health Monitor", "Laser Drill" and many more await Innovator 2018 visitors’.

During the UAE Innovation Month, ADEK is organizing major strategic initiatives such as Innovator 2018; the Abu Dhabi Science Festival and a week-long interactive program as part of lema? in Abu Dhabi, the Al Ain Region and the Al Dhafra Region; "Program Your Idea" competition and Google Innovation Hub in the Al Ain Region, which will be made available for governmental bodies and community members and will contribute in creating a conducive environment to work, innovate and be distinct.

Innovator 2018 will be available for school students from 9 am to 1 pm and will be open to the general public from 4 pm to 10 pm on weekdays and 2 pm to 10 pm on weekends at the Abu Dhabi Corniche and three shopping malls at Al Ain from 1 to 7 February 2018, with free admissions for all.
