Abu Dhabi International Airport to Offer Flight Updates via Twitter and Facebook |

Twitter users travelling to and from Abu Dhabi International Airport can now receive real time flight updates to their Twitter and Facebook accounts, thanks to a new service called BizTweet launched this week by Abu Dhabi Airports. Abu Dhabi Airports’ Acting Chief Operations Officer, Ahmed Al Shamisi expressed his delight in the airport incorporating the latest technology to enhance customer service. Al Shamisi commented: “Delivering detailed flight information directly to passengers within their homes is another milestone in improving our digital experience. Launching the BizTweet service in Abu Dhabi ensures easy access to the latest flight information, helping passengers to plan their journey more effectively, and improve their experience from start to finish.” BizTweet is an automated flight information service available to all Abu Dhabi Airports’ customers via Twitter and Facebook. It provides the latest on flight information, including gate departure and arrival times, for all international flights. Travelers can register for flight updates via the Abu Dhabi International Airport’s website to receive updates on twitter or Facebook from @auhflights. Abu Dhabi Airports has implemented a range of technology solutions to improve the airport experience and customer service, including upgraded complimentary Wi-Fi, self-service check-in, automated bag drops, and Smart eGates. |
