ADDED, EAD Sign Agreement To Develop Environment Sector-Related Economic Policies











Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, ADDED, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, EAD, to strengthen joint cooperation in environment-related economic policies, regulations, services and events.

The agreement was signed by Khalifa bin Salem Al Mansouri, Under-Secretary of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, and Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak, EAD Secretary-General, on the sideline of the Green Business Summit, which was launched yesterday in Rosewood Hotel, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, in the presence of several officials from both sides.

Commenting on signing the agreement, Al Mansouri said, "This agreement comes to strengthen the efforts to provide many excellent services to Aub Dhabi society, so that sustainable economic development would be achieved by regulating the business sector, improving the investment climate, developing the economic activities and services and preparing overall studies on the economic and social variables in Abu Dhabi."

Razan Al Mubarak said that the agreement with ADDED embodies the strategic partnership among government authorities to effectively coordinate and cooperate with each other, so that the natural resources in the Emirate would be optimally used and its natural environment would be protected to attain sustainable economic development in the different environment-related fields.
