The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced the Zayed Generation Camp, an upcoming initiative to encourage children to strengthen their national identity and to introduce them to a range of activities and events that reflect the cultural traditions of the UAE.
The programme, which will be held at Al Ain Palace Museum, will include a variety of recreational activities, educational workshops, and exciting cultural competitions, will take place from 22nd to 26th July 2018. Activities include cultural film screenings, traditional crafts making and pottery workshops as well as educational workshops that explore topics related to Emirati heritage and the responsibilities the young generation have for the future.
With the aim of showcasing the rich heritage of the Emirate and educating the younger generation about the importance of World Heritage sites, participants of the summer programme will also be invited on a tour around Al Ain Oasis and Qasr Al Muwaiji.
