Leading Italian Artist Saverio Lucci To Host ’Art Of Kings’ Exhibition In Abu Dhabi

Paintings Spanning Two Decades to be on Display at Emirates Palace Hotel

Saverio Lucci, a Ferrarese artist specializing in fine art, interior decoration, dome murals and art restoration, today announced he will host the ‘Art of Kings’ exhibition featuring some of his contemporary as well as renaissance art styles.

To be held on 22 October at the Emirates Palace Hotel, the exhibition will include the Italian artist’s oil on canvas and acrylic paintings. Select artworks will also be offered for sale.

Saverio Lucci has worked on renowned projects such as the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, Mercato Mall and Royal Mirage in Dubai, as well as the Kremlin Palace in Moscow. He has also worked on private palaces and mansions of royal families, politicians and leading businessmen.

Lucci said: “The Art of Kings exhibition is very special to me as it will feature some of my most prized art works created over the last 20 years. Some of these paintings will include exclusive works that have been exhibited only to select groups around the world.

“My first individual exhibition in Abu Dhabi will reflect my experimentation with various painting styles, and capture the moods and stages in my professional career. It will particularly showcase the fundamentals of the ‘encausto’ technique, my speciality, which allows me to communicate a range of messages through the use of lighting, contours, shades and colours.”

Alberto Gerosa, writer and former editor of Italy-based Goya Magazine, said: “Saverio is renowned for his passion for art and some of the world’s most prominent landmarks stand testimony to his extraordinary skills. His originality and attention to detail transcend elegance, appeal and intimacy. His exploration for beauty and ideals are evident in his subtle strokes, light intensity, contrasts and exploration of the human soul in his portraits. We believe The Art of Kings exhibition will be enthusiastically welcomed by the arts community in the UAE.“

Lucci’s exhibitions have received acclaim from art critics and the public alike in various Italian cities and abroad, including Milan, Florence, Bologna, Moscow, Singapore, and, Dubai.
