Sharjah Museums Department Organizes Iftar For Its Employees |

As part of its initiative "Because We Care", The Sharjah Museums Department (SMD), organized its annual Iftar banquet for its employees at Corniche Al Buhaira Hotel, in Sharjah on 1st of Aug, amidst a festive Ramadan atmosphere. The banquet was attended by various department directors and section heads, as well as SMD’s male and female staff, museum curators and work teams, in addition to a number of guests. The event is an annual tradition organized by SMD to foster closer bonds of love and solidarity amongst officials and employees, so as to add richly to the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan, as well as to enhance the team spirit of employees. SMD employees enjoyed the event, which included various leisure activities and competitions in a warm and spiritual atmosphere. The event falls in line with SMD’s commitment to enhancing its role in boosting the longstanding reputation of Sharjah as the Capital of Islamic Culture for 2014. The Department is continuously striving to intensify its efforts and adopt innovative initiatives that help promote Islamic culture in the local community and convey its message to global arenas. SMD is always seeking to revive original religious and traditional occasions, as well as to preserve these rich traditions and customs, and thus it is continuously striving to take the lead in making everyone happy, including its staff members and audience and visitors from various ages and social groups.
