Pink Caravan To Offers Sharjah Ramadan Festival’s Visitors Free Medical Tests











The Pink Caravan’s Mobile Medical Clinic is offering free medical tests and screenings for the early detection of breast cancer to patients visiting the Sharjah Ramadan and Eid Fair 2012 at Expo Centre Sharjah during the period from July 26 until 16 August from 9pm to 12 Midnight throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Speaking on the occasion, Ameera Bin Karam, Founding Member and President of the Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), said: "FOCP’s selection of Ramadan and Eid Fair is due to its status as an annual event that attracts a large number of visitors through out the blessed month, and is also in line with the Pink Caravan’s priorities and strategy aiming at reaching out to all community sectors via various educational, entertaining and professional outlets." She said the Pink Caravan’s Medical Team would conduct medical tests and screenings for interested people on every Friday of each week after making available all medical equipment and devices and the preparation of a highly qualified medical team than can handle medical tests to a high level of professionalism.

Expo Centre will allocate an appropriate area (Booth) to enable the medical team to conduct medical tests smoothly and easily as well as to allow a larger number of interest people, both female and male, to benefit from free breast cancer screenings.

Friends of Cancer Patients will also have a special stand at Expo where visitors can get more information and answers to their queries in order to raise public awareness of about the various types of cancer.
