The organizers, the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, said that they have been keen to make the sixth edition of the festival a truly exciting and memorable experience both in terms of world-class entertainment and smooth execution.

Al Majaz Park, the main venue of the Water Festival, next to the picturesque Khalid Lagoon is buzzing with raw energy and children’s excitement as they see their much loved fictional characters and legends like the Arab hero, Sinbad the Sailor, Aladdin, Peter Pan and others come alive. Children cannot seem to have enough of their popular icons as they play and interact with them.

The main stage of Mouj Island has been hosting the wildly popular Ohmies American musical with excited children endlessly playing, dancing and singing along with the singers.

Children also had loads of fun with the lovable festival mascot Mouj as he took them on a breathless, joyride called Mouj Fantasy with various popular fictional characters like Aladdin and Peter Pan in colourful costumes.

The heroic Arab sailor Sinbad, equally loved in the East and West, took children on a fantastic voyage across seas from East Africa to South Asia discovering new charming places, people and diverse cultures. During the trip, the legendary sailor is exposed to endless risks and dangers to discover in the end that friendship and loyalty are the most important values in life.
