Rolls-Royce Strengthens Its Leadership Of Luxury Market

Luxury motor car maker confirmed as a world leading superbrand

Whether it is the effortless glamour, the charisma or the sheer elation that ownership of a Rolls-Royce inspires, the luxury car maker continues to lead the way as a superbrand that everyone desires. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars was the second most powerful superbrand according to a survey by The Centre for Brand Analysis, and the only superbrand from last year’s top ten to climb up the rankings this time around. The UK based company, who compiled the survey through a panel of experts and 1500 businessmen, confirmed Rolls-Royce glided into second spot, only beaten to the top spot by Google. Abu Dhabi Motors, the exclusive dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and BMW in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, is a perfect example of what the power of the superbrand can achieve. Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors, and his team achieved a historic success by recording the highest sales volume of any Rolls-Royce Motor Cars dealer in the world in 2008. Becoming world number one is a special achievement, whatever field you are in, and Husselmann was naturally delighted: “It is very rewarding to see the impressive development of the business, we have been continuously amongst the top 5 dealerships in the world over recent years and have now become the top dealer globally.” Commenting on the foundation of Abu Dhabi Motors’ success Husselmann said: “The secret of this achievement is quite simple: we understand the Rolls-Royce brand and we work hard to deliver the best service for the most discerning clientele in the world.” Since its inception, Abu Dhabi Motors has focussed on the individual wishes and demands of its Rolls-Royce customers. The Rolls-Royce Bespoke programme helps customers realise the particular vision they have for their Rolls-Royce. The Middle East market, especially the UAE, claims one of the highest volumes of requests for Rolls-Royce Bespoke programme additions to these prestigious motor cars, accounting for nearly 90% of all cars bought. In Abu Dhabi, every Phantom handed over to a customer is a Bespoke Phantom. “Both Rolls-Royce and Abu Dhabi have outstanding values in heritage and vision, and we are proud to offer our customers the promise of unparalleled motoring luxury,” said Husselmann highlighting affinities between the capital and the world famous brand. The Phantom family has grown from one to four models, including the convertible Phantom Drophead Coupé in 2007 and the Phantom Coupé in 2008. Currently Abu Dhabi Motors is investing in building an 894 square metre dedicated Rolls-Royce showroom, with state of the art facilities aimed at delivering a broadened Rolls-Royce experience to its sophisticated clientele.
