National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), the Number One Bank in the UAE, was awarded the Best Local Bank in the UAE Award from emeafinance, the prestigious publication.
emeafinance’s Middle East Banking Awards recognize the leading banks across the Middle East; the banks that stand out among their peers, demonstrate leadership in their home markets, top the performance and deal-making tables both in individual countries and across the Middle East.
The awards consider various performance and structural factors such as market share, growth in important product classes, profitability, and corporate strategy.
NBAD was recognized as the best local bank in the UAE due to the fact that it has managed to establish itself as the leading bank in the country amid this difficult market conditions and the bank’s capability to weather the storm.
