Knowledge Without Borders Includes ’50 MustKnow Facts About Sharjah’ Into Library |

Sharjah Media Centre in cooperation with the KnowledgeWithoutBorders project, today announced ‘50 MustKnow Facts about Sharjah’, a Sharjah Media Centre publication that offers valuable information on the emirate, has been included in the library that is distributed to Emirati families in Sharjah. The decision was taken during a visit by a delegation from the KnowledgeWithoutBorders project, led by His Excellency Rashed Al Kous, Director of Knowledge Without Borders project, to Sharjah Media Centre. During the visit, Osama Samra, Director, Sharjah Media Centre, and His Excellency Rashed Al Kous,agreed on conducting joint cultural and communicational activities, which would help achieve their shared objectives that take inspiration from the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The addition of ‘50 MustKnow Facts about Sharjah’ to the library of the KnowledgeWithoutBorders project comes as part of efforts to raise awareness among Emirati families on Sharjah’s glorious past and achievements acrossdiverse sectors such as economy, culture, and tourism. His ExcellencyRashed Al Koussaid: “KnowledgeWithoutBorders is keen to identify books that will enhance our library and help offer a holistic learning experience to families. Books such as ‘50 Must Know Facts about Sharjah’, serve as an important cultural reference on Sharjah through highlighting key facts and events in the development of the emirate. “Ourcooperation with Sharjah Media Centre will not only help disseminate cultural knowledge but alsoallow families to benefit from the insight offered in ‘50 MustKnow Facts about Sharjah’.Furthermore, the hand outis laid out in a simple and easy-to-readformat, and substantiated by pictures that bring alive the historic moments in the minds of the readers."
