du Signs MOU With Abu Dhabi Police As One Of The Official Telecom Service Providers


Agreement provides foundation for the future provision of du’s










Establishing a new framework for cooperation, du and Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the GITEX Technology Week event in Dubai. As a result of the MOU, du is now positioned to offer its services to the ADP as one of the police force’s official telecom service providers. Present at the signing ceremony were Colonel Anwar Abdullah AL Mulla, Director of IT and Telecommunications, ADP, and Farid Faraidooni, EVP Commercial, du. The two organisations are currently discussing next steps and further announcements will be made in the coming weeks.

“The MOU with Abu Dhabi Police demonstrates that both our expertise and our innovative approach to telecom services are being recognised by leading organisations across the UAE,” said Faraidooni. “We are delighted to be named one of the official telecom providers for Abu Dhabi Police and we look forward to a long and mutually-beneficial partnership.”

du offers enterprise clients a wide range of customisable, feature-rich vertical solutions for communications, connectivity, collaboration and mobility. As part of the initial discussions, du and Abu Dhabi police are exploring customizable mobility packages for their employees including BlackBerry® Data Bundles, mobile broadband and bulk-SMS services.
