- International participation growing rapidly, with Spain, Morocco, UK, Lebanon and Egypt confirmed- 80 % of exhibit space already allocated

The sixth International Real Estate & Investment Show, IREIS 2010, is witnessing burgeoning interest from exhibitors and is set to be the most international show to date. The event, to be held at ADNEC will take place from 26th to 29th January 2010.

Most significantly, this take up floor-space is being driven by strong interest from overseas exhibitors wishing to showcase their projects to potential investors in what has been hailed as one of the richest cities in the world.

The international participation in the show currently includes Spain, Morocco, Lebanon, the United Kingdom and Egypt among others.

José Manuel Galindo, President of ASPRIMA (Association of Project Developers and Real Estate in Madrid explained, “The prices of Spanish real estate have already reached their realistic floor” and added that now is the perfect moment to invest in Spain, “knowing that the offer available today will not be tomorrow” Moroccan delegation representative Lamia Darif said, “This IREIS 6th Edition will host for the first time a Moroccan pavilion, gathering the leading companies in Morocco.

We are witnessing continuously growing demand for spacious homes and luxurious apartments in Morocco. The ongoing real estate programs currently offer a very large choice, able to satisfy the most demanding investors. Programs based in Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, and Tangier, among others, capitalize on the wide variety of landscapes, climates and lifestyles that Morocco has to offer.

Antoine Georges, Director of Dome Exhibitions, organiser of IREIS, said: "We are delighted with the level of interest we have received already. The strong endorsement from exhibitors that attended last year’s show combined with overwhelming international interest to exhibit in Abu Dhabi has resulted in the event gaining a great deal of momentum in a matter of weeks."

"The International Monetary Fund expects the world economy will register an overall growth average of 3% in 2010. The real estate projects being exhibited at IREIS 2010 will be attractive to local investors looking to capitalize on attractive offers as they look toward to this market comeback," he added.

IREIS 2010 builds on several successful years. The show, first introduced to an emerging real estate market in Abu Dhabi in 2005, has achieved spiralling growth and gained interest of key international exhibitors over the few last years. IREIS 2009 held earlier this year attracted 100 exhibitors occupying an area of over 8000 square metres. Exhibitors at IREIS 2010 will include master developers, property development companies, real estate agents and major financial institutions.
