ADCC Stresses Its New Strategy Complies With Abu Dhabi New Economic Vision 2030











Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCC) underlined that its five-year plan strategy has been set up to comply and integrate with the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. The ADCC’s new strategy includes 7 priorities, 14 strategic objectives and 42 initiatives and programmes to be implemented until 2013.

The ADCC said it seeks through the five-year plan 2009- 2013, to become a powerhouse in regard to rendering services and support policies of private sector, adding that the new strategy will work to expand partnerships and agreements with public institutions and private corporations whether locally or internationally.

HE Engineer Salah Salem bin Omeir Al Shamsi, President of both the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce ’&’ Industry and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce ’&’ Industry, said in a statement that the ADCC scored many achievements over the last 40 years due to the sound policies of previous boards.

He added that the ADCC enjoys support from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and follow up from HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, a move that enable it to contribute effectively in building the national economy.

HE Mohammed Rashid Al Hamili, Director General of the ADCC, said that the vision and message of the ADCC "is to support policies and programmes of business sector and expand opportunities through provisions of high standard services to members to contribute in the comprehensive and sustainable economic development of the emirate of Abu Dhabi."
