Federal Electricity And Water Authority Inks Landmark Deal With Siemens











The Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) has signed a contract with Siemens LLC, whereby the latter has been commissioned to implement the authority’s systems for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) including Customer Relation Management (CRM) and Billing by utilizing state of the art technology from SAP which is the leading provider of best in class business software solutions for utility companies worldwide.

Commenting on this contract, FEWA’s General Manager Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, said that the Authority is constantly striving to keep up with the latest technology to serve its strategic objectives and to provide services of the highest level of efficiency and excellence. This mission will be achieved through the application of a system that is of an international standard, thereby improving the quality of services provided to the public, enhancing customer satisfaction.

He added that the selection of Siemens for the implementation of this project came after a study of a number of proposals by various other companies on their competence and experience. Through application of the terms of this contract Siemens will enhance the administrative performance at FEWA, including customer management system and human resources management, financial, accounting and management of procurement, stores, record keeping, as well as the development of the website and will apply this system in the implementation of all procedures and services in electronic form.
