Children From Future Center Hosted By ADMA-OPCO











More than 70 children, parents and assistants from the Future Center for Special Needs were treated to a cartoon film, lunch and gifts at the Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company Headquarters.

The children and staff were received by ADMA-OPCOs management and invited to watch a cartoon film titled “Jungle Book”. Following the film, the children, aged three to fifteen were treated to lunch and gifts including caps,
t-shirts and USBs.

“It’s very good for the children to change environments and interact with different people and it is certainly our pleasure to have these delightful children here at ADMA-OPCO” said ADMA-OPCO General Manger, Ali R. Al Jarwan who along with other ADMA-OPCO Management greeted and spoke with the children.

This initiative is part of an ongoing program that is part of ADMA-OPCO corporate social responsibility towards the Abu Dhabi Community.

Half of the children were UAE nationals and the other half consisted of 10 different nationalities, with disabilities varying in degrees of severity between mild to moderate including condition such as autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, motor disorders, speech and language disorders, specific learning disabilities like ADHD and dyslexia, hearing impairment, seizure disorders, and other rare conditions like Cohen Syndrome, Seckle Syndrome and Dr. Joubert Syndrome among others.

The Future Centre for Special Needs is a non-profit organization based in Abu Dhabi. It specializes in the education and habilitation of individuals with disabilities, who may stay at the centre between ages of 3 and 20 years of age.
