Major General Mattar Salim bin Mosaied Neyadi, General Director of the Electronic Services and Communications at the Ministry of Interior attended the graduation ceremony of eight IRCA ISO 27001:2005 Lead Auditors and two information security awareness sessions.
The sessions were organised by the Department of Technical Support in cooperation with TUV Middle East (Member of TUV NORD Group) a German company specialized in the areas of Information Security, Quality Assurance, Third Party Inspection, HSE Services, Certification, Training & Education.
The Lead Auditor course was conducted in Abu Dhabi last February followed by an exam where all the participants has passed & granted certificates.
The ISO 27001:2005 Awareness sessions were held at the headquarters of the department. The two sessions were attended by officers and noncommissioned officers from the Department of Electronic Services and Communications.
The event was attended by directors of departments and a number of officers, Vice President of TUV Middle East Marcus Lechtermann, General Manager Shibu Davies, Sales In charge Shaoki Shabaan, and Thomas Hoppe of the German Interior Ministry.
Major-General Neyadi congratulated the graduates and urged them to exert more efforts to improve the work, emphasising the department is keen to hold such sessions at the level of the Ministry of the Interior. He wished them success.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Major General Mattar Neyadi presented certificates to the graduates:
