Bawadi Mall Launches 51-Day "Shop & Win" Promotion


Celebrating footfall of 8 million visitors in one year










Bawadi Mall, which has received over 8 million visitors in one year of operations, has launched a 51-day promotion under the theme “Shop & Win”.

Announcing the promotion, Mr. Bashar Tamimi, General Manager, Bawadi Mall, said: “We opened at a very critical period when the global economic crunch was in its height. But Bawadi Mall registered record sales in the very first month, a tribute to our well-rounded marketing strategy and an outreach campaign that was tailored to our tenants, visitors and community at large. The new promotion offers a host of entertainment activities that target all community members in the UAE and neighbourhood which includes Oman and GCC countries.”

Commenting on the marketing strategy of the mall, Khalid Shraim added: “We decided in Bawadi Mall to offer a blend of entertainment and shopping experience. Our top priority is to enhance our partnership with the international, regional and local businesses present in the mall by developing innovative channels to sustain the trust between our tenants and our visitors”.

Shraim said the success of the mall within a period of one year was the result of hosting innovative events that have elevated it to a leading position in the Gulf.

Shraim added: “This promotional campaign lines up a host of pioneering entertainment programs that are guaranteed to provide a new shopping experience to our visitors and create a family shopping ambience that is unique”.

The campaign will provide daily vouchers for the 51 days, provided by Bawadi Mall along other tenants, with a daily raffle to pick three winners every day.

Live fashion show will also take place on Thursdays and Fridays, presented by fashion brands in the mall. A number of other surprises are lined as part of the promotion.

The promotional campaign in Bawadi Mall is similar to the other festivals been launched by Bawadi Mall since its inception and it will contribute in enhancing Al Ain city as a tourism destination amongst shopping centers in the region. It is also a result of the commitment of the private sector to enhance the leading role of Al Ain in the cultural perspective.

New brands have made their debut in Al Ain city through Bawadi Mall, such as Zara, Mango, MAX, Marks & Spencer, Kotton, New look, H&M, ACE, Toys “R” US, Adidas, Guess, Nokia, BHS, Danube BUILDMART and Magrudy’s amongst others. The mall has attracted more than 380 retail outlets, including international names.
Bawadi Mall, developed by Nael & Bin Harmal Inv. Co. L.L.C., houses a mix of international as well as regional retail brands of fashion, food, jewellery and much more, all in a bright, spacious, and inviting environment, distinguished by a wide curved vaulted skylight that soars above the main corridor and its main three spacious courts.

The 10,000 sq. m. “Family Entertainment Center” featuring a varied mix of fun, ranging from the “Roller Coaster” to the “Fun Ski Village”, amongst many other attractions have contributed in attracting this big number of visitors to the mall. Not to mention the eight movie theatres including Grand Class Hall, a bowling alley, a distinctively rich food-court and several casual dining alternatives offering delicious varieties of cuisines.

A wide set of promotions will take place throughout the 51 days of the campaign, and shoppers can expect fantastic deals on different items.
