Quintessentially Abu Dhabi, the world’s leading Luxury Lifestyle Group and private members’ club, today announced it is organizing the ‘Quintessentially Night Race 2010’, a three-hour endurance karting competition for the second consecutive year at Al Ain Sportplex.
Sponsored by Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA), the Night Race will be held on 16 April and aim to raise awareness of the Breast Cancer and the importance of the breast cancer screening. The Breast Care Centre at Al Tawam Hospital will set up a free standing training facility, fully equipped with screening tools and other amenities. Professional staff from Tawam will be on-site throughout the event. The staff will provide free educational material and self-exam guidelines for women to encourage early detection, diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
A total of 23 teams from 20 corporate entities will be in action at the adrenalin-pumping event that is regarded globally as the purest form of motor sport.
The team building exercise will bring together several leading companies in the UAE. Groups, each comprising five players, will represent entities such as ADWEA, Mubadala, Quintessentially, European International College, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Tourism Development and Investment Company, Fiat, Firestones, Deerfields Town Square, Inmotion, EPICO, Du, Al Khajah, British Embassy, MBI, Azadea, and Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club, JBA and JiWiN Public Relations
