Etihad Airways’ guests who are booked to travel on a cancelled flight during the affected period can rebook to a new travel date*, or cancel their ticket and receive a full refund. Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer, Mr James Hogan, said the airline would continue to do everything possible to minimise the impact of the situation to its passengers. “The major priority for us right now is our customers,” Mr Hogan said. “In Abu Dhabi, Etihad staff are located in all hotels in which our transit passengers are accommodated, and we continue to communicate with them to advise of any changes to the situation. “We regret the inconvenience caused by these cancellations, however we are monitoring the situation very carefully and we will continue to comply fully with the UK and European authorities during these closures. We will not operate to any area that represents a safety risk.” Customers can contact the airline on the following dedicated customer assistance lines: *Terms and conditions apply for rebooking and refunds. |
