UAE’s Leading Aviation Service Providers Boost Presence In Europe

Abu Dhabi Aviation Group - Maximus Air Cargo, Royal Jet and Abu Dhabi Aviation roll out first major initiative

An agreement that combines the offices of two of the UAE’s leading aviation service providers under one roof has been signed by Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) Group. It will offer customers a selection of wide-ranging products and services in a one-stop-shop environment, whilst enhancing the Group’s presence in the UK and European markets.

The ADA Group, chaired by HH Sheikh Tanoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, includes Maximus Air Cargo, the UAE’s largest dedicated cargo aircraft operator; Royal Jet, the international luxury executive flight services company chaired by HE Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak; and Abu Dhabi Aviation, the largest commercial helicopter and fixed wing aircraft operator in the Middle East. The agreement was signed by Royal Jet and Maximus Air Cargo and allows Royal Jet to open their offices at Maximus Air Cargo’s existing facility at Stansted Airport in the UK. In addition, plans are already afoot to add Abu Dhabi Aviation in the near future and this will further strengthen the Group’s synergies.

The strategic agreement was signed between Fathi Hilal Buhazza, Maximus Air Cargo President and CEO and Shane O’ Hare, Royal Jet President and CEO in the presence of Nader Ahmed Al Hammadi, Managing Director, Abu Dhabi Aviation and Board Member of Royal Jet.

“This combining of the offices at Stansted Airport under the umbrella of the ADA Group is indeed a very welcome development for us all,” said Al Hammadi. “The combination of Maximus Air Cargo and Royal Jet, as well as Abu Dhabi Aviation Company, which is expected to follow suit in the near future, allows us to offer our services more readily for the UK and European markets, which adding to all our other existing offices in the Middle East and elsewhere, also enables us to further develop our services in order to offer a wider range of high quality offerings.

Adding to this Buhazza commented "We welcome our partners to our UK office and fully support this initiative. The development is a well-orchestrated strategic move that carries with it several key advantages. Not only will it reinforce the strengths and synergies of the Abu Dhabi Aviation Group, but ultimately it will make very good business sense in terms of increased sales for all parties."

For his part, O’Hare indicated that Royal Jet’s existing relationships in this market will be further complimented by its representative office and that working together with its partners under the ADA Group will not only boost business opportunities for UAE-based aviation services companies, but also meet the requirements of their loyal customers in the European markets.

“Royal Jet works with a number of key brokers and customers in the region and this venture will definitely help us increase even further our market share. Indeed, working alongside our partners from the UAE to offer a one-stop-shop destination for any and all aviation service requirements is ideally suited for our niche customers, and enables us to showcase to the European market the high quality of service that UAE-based companies provide,” said O’Hare.

The combined offices of Maximus Air Cargo and Royal Jet in the UK are scheduled to begin operations in the next month.
