Emirates Palace To Showcase Its Premium Offers At ATM In May











The award-winning Emirates Palace will use the platform of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the Middle East’s premier travel and tourism show, to showcase its high-end products and services, network with industry peers and strike partnerships with new business partners.

The 17th edition of the ATM will take place from 4-7 May 2010 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The four days of the event include business networking, careers ’&’ travel agents and consumer day.

Emirates Palace, the Abu Dhabi leading Hotel, will also roll out its package of special offers to clients and visitors at the largest industry gathering from travel and tourisms agents and operators from the Middle East and Gulf and the world at large. The Emirates Palace will have an ideal stand at the pavilion of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) which along with some 77 of its industry stakeholders will jointly mount their largest pavilion at the travel fair. The Abu Dhabi pavilion will take up 1,400 square metres and will be the largest of any stand at Arabian Travel Market. It will include new-to-market exhibitors including soon-to-open hotels, new travel and tourism operators and city centre resorts.

Janet Abrahams, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, Emirates Palace, said all indicators bode well, showing a promising and active season throughout the summer of this year and well through to next year.

"At ATM, our team will promote upcoming summer holidays specifically designed to attract more holiday makers from the GCC, European and Asian countries to Abu Dhabi . We will be networking with our key travel and tourism partners to conclude contracts for enhancing our new vibrant markets in China, Japan, Latin America and Norway to attract elite groups of new tourists to Abu Dhabi," she said.

"A regular participant at the prestigious Arabian Travel Market, the Emirates Palace will seize the valuable opportunity of its presence in such a premium industry extravaganza to announce special offers on the occasion of its fifth anniversary. The promotions will be valid till September 2010 and offer an extensive range of family fun, fine dining, rejuvenating spa, exhilarating sports, cultural and entertainment activities,"’ she said.

Looking forward, she disclosed that Emirates Palace has struck contracts with travel and tourism agencies and operators in a number of European, American and Asian countries for 2011 and 2012 and was confident of a continued growth in demand for Emirates Palace and Abu Dhabi.

Arabian Travel Market 2009 welcomed over 17,237 participants; it is by far the biggest travel and tourism event in the Middle East, and a must-attend exhibition for the region’s travel trade.
