Emirates ID Develops a smart system to measure SP’s Performance Indicators |

Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) has launched a new smart system to measure performance indicators of its service points (SPs). The new system is intended to provide various statistical data in an easy and fast way, in addition to its vital role in measuring the performance indicators of SPs and Population Register. The smart system, developed by the ICT department, features graphic representation in statistical charts that reflect a number of indicators related to the daily registration process and ensures the accuracy of biometric data as well as provision of statistical data. This system is a precious addition to Emirates ID work. It aims to improve the general performance of various departments as the primary channel for decision making at the levels of registration and controlling SPs performance in addition to its role in improving the quality of procedures. The new system provides pre-established statistical information, in addition to the possibility of building new statistics easily and quickly as the work so requires without making technical efforts. Meanwhile, EIDA will install a new machine for enveloping ID Cards at operations center as part of endeavors to develop its infrastructure and improve the quality of services, . The machine model is MX6000 and it is expected to operate as of the next week. MX6000 is the most modern machine of its kind in the world. It includes state-of-art technologies that makes it need no more than one person to operate. This will reduce the number of employees who were operating the previous machine; therefore the management will be able to employ them in other points within Emirates ID structure. This machine, with its great technological capabilities, is expected to reduce costs incurred on Emirates ID due to relying on the old machine. The new machine will save eight million dirhams a year. MX6000 can envelop up to 1500 two-sided forms per hour in addition to increasing the capacity to deliver 30,000 forms a day. MX6000 is an added value to Emirates ID career, whether through its innovative performance and high productivity or its outstanding capabilities and multiple technological uses and properties as well as its intuitive operation, reading the data on the card chip, capability of using MX6000 with new printing devices and adding advertising posters. This machine features upgrading, updating and developing so that MX6000 can be used as a printer in the future after adding some technical components to the machine. |
