Etisalat, the official ICT partner of the Internet Show in Abu Dhabi, announced its successful participation in the two-day event which concluded today with good response from businesses and customers attending the event.. At the Internet Show, Etisalat showcased solutions and highlighted the critical need for broadband as an essential platform to leverage varied solutions that enable better business.
Etisalat demonstrated various innovative solutions for enterprises and small and medium businesses at its stand, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about the company’s diverse solution portfolio across its Business Connectivity, Mobility Solutions, Managed Services and e-Business platforms.

Leveraging its commitment to harness the power of unified communications, Etisalat demonstrated its Managed Unified Office solution which is a practical, convenient and affordable "office in a box” solution essentially for SMBs (small and medium businesses). The service will bring voice, broadband and data communications together in one box, with end-to-end management and monitoring features, thereby providing businesses with a single point of management for all ICT infrastructure elements.
Etisalat’s fiber rollout has also provided significant benefits for businesses with the advantage of a scalable and dedicated network for business to offer maximum reliability and uptimes. This is a huge differentiator since businesses value faster response time, higher service availability and information security. In terms of services, Etisalat today is able to offer the highest broadband speeds of 100Mbps for businesses through its BusinessOne Super broadband service that was another focus area at the Etisalat stand.
Etisalat Mobile IT solution was also previewed at the Internet Show, which when launched, will enable corporate IT managers to gain administrative control in device security, settings, application deployment and so on. This will extend IT operations from the network to the mobile handsets belonging to company staff. The service will be hosted by Etisalat with company IT administrators accessing the server platform via a Web Portal.
Etisalat speakers also addressed audiences at the event with Enrique Beza Rodriguez, Senior Manager, Mobile Commerce, highlighting Etisalat’s role in helping eCommerce merchants mitigate online fraud risks. Etisalat will enable enabling fraud monitoring capabilities through a fully integrated solution that will offer access to worldwide fraud databases and real-time device profiling.
Teddy Sara, Manager, eCommerce Security at Etisalat addressed the at the Internet Show and elaborated on Etisalat’s diverse portfolio spread across vulnerability management and e-mail security. He also discussed Etisalat’s PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) that enhances digital identity initiatives so that users and network devices can be identified with certainty and trusted in electronic communications.
