Risk Assessment At Forefront Of Project Life Cycles

Tools to identify early critical risk factors to be explained at free Abu Dhabi seminar

Projects managers will be given an insight into comprehensive documentation and early assessment of potential risk factors to ensure a project stays on course throughout its life span during a free breakfast seminar delivered by a leading industry expert.

Raed S. Haddad, Senior Vice President of Global Delivery Services at ESI International, an internationally known project management expert and public speaker, will present tools for project managers to identify risks and opportunities on Wednesday 6 October 2010 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

“Whether you are 10 feet away from the user or an ocean away, it is imperative that you accurately gather and document requirements in order to mitigate your project risk. Presenting a complete requirements picture early on and staying on course throughout the project is crucial to success,” said Haddad.

During his presentation, Haddad will also analyse best practices to illustrate the vital link between business analysis best practices and improvements in risk management.

“Even though finance is one of the key components to any project, keeping them on track – particularly when faced with unmitigated issues – can be difficult. During this session we will also discuss the key components of managing risk, proven techniques to define better use of requirements and how to leverage business analysis to mitigate project risk,” said Haddad.

Over the past 20 years Haddad has had extensive first hand project management experience on numerous programmes worldwide. As a professorial lecturer at The George Washington University, he currently teaches graduate level courses in project and programme management; cost, schedule and quality control and decision-making techniques.
