Announcing Pakistan vs South Africa Cricket Series In UAE











Pakistan Cricket Board and Cricket South Africa have announced the itinerary of their upcoming series to be played in the United Arab Emirates from Oct 26th-Nov 24th. A Charity T20 international has been added to the tour and all proceeds from the game will be donated towards flood relief efforts in Pakistan.

In his comments on the release of the itinerary PCB Chairman Mohammad Ijaz Butt said," I would like to thank the Emirates Cricket Board for once again making their World Class Stadiums and facilities available to us for the upcoming series. The U.A.E has become a home away from home for the Pakistan Team and we look forward to an exciting battle between two of the top teams in World Cricket. I would especially like to extend by appreciation to Cricket South Africa for playing a match for the benefit of the millions of Flood victims in Pakistan. This gesture from them at a challenging time for the country will not be forgotten. I wish both teams the best of luck for the series".

The series commences with the two T20 games that will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The first two ODI’s will also be played at Abu Dhabi while the remaining three ODI’s will be played at Dubai Sports City. A test match each will be played at Dubai and Abu Dhabi as well.

The series schedule is as follows:
• October 26, 2010: 1st Twenty20, Abu Dhabi
• October 27, 2010: 2nd Twenty20, Abu Dhabi
• October 29, 2010: 1st ODI, Abu Dhabi
• October 31, 2010: 2nd ODI, Abu Dhabi
• November 2, 2010: 3rd ODI, Dubai
• November 5, 2010: 4th ODI, Dubai
• November 8, 2010: 5th ODI, Dubai
• Nov 12-16, 2010: 1st Test, Dubai
• Nov 20-24, 2010 :2nd Test, Abu Dhabi
