At 6pm on Friday October 1st, ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre) informed us that Abu Dhabi Hall (Hall 12) was unfit to stage Tiesto Live in Abu Dhabi due to a serious technical problem with the venue. ADNEC was not able to remedy the problem and so consequently, the decision was taken to cancel the event.
Everybody at FLASH is deeply saddened that this event did not go ahead. We know how many people were looking forward to seeing Tiesto, but our utmost priority is the safety of attendees and under no circumstances will we ever risk or compromise this. ADNEC is conducting its own investigation into the causes of the technical problem, to ensure this situation does not happen again.
Speaking directly to Tiesto, he was disappointed that he could not perform on Friday night and understood that situations do arise that are beyond the organizer’s control. ADNEC/Tiesto Management and FLASH are discussing all options on alternative dates and an announcement will be made shortly.
We would like to assure all Tiesto ticket holders that our entire team is working around the clock to provide you with another opportunity to see this incredible DJ perform in Abu Dhabi. Of course, should this not be satisfactory, ticket holders should contact their respective ticket outlets for a full refund. More information as below.
Reimbursement
All Tiesto tickets will be refunded in full through the respective ticket outlets.
Please note that reimbursement claims must be made before 11.59 31st October 2010.
Those that purchased online through Boxofficeme.com, Timeouttickets.com & Ticketingboxoffice.com will be automatically refunded in full. Your refund will be automatically credited back to the card used for the original Tiesto purchase.
Those that purchased Tiesto tickets in-store at Virgin Megastores can present their physical ticket at any Virgin Megastore outlet across the UAE for a full refund.
People that bought through FLASH directly must email tiestoevent@thinkflash.ae and a member of the FLASH team will respond within 48 hours.
Creamfields Discount
All Tiesto Ticket holders are still eligible to receive a 40% discount on 250AED Creamfields Abu Dhabi 2010 Tickets. This discount will now run from 00.01 on Wednesday 6th October to 11.59pm on Tuesday 13th October 2010.
Online Tiesto ticket holders will be sent an automatic email link from the retailer through which they can claim their 40% discount on Creamfields ticket.
Virgin Megastores ticket buyers must present their physical Tiesto ticket in-store to claim their 40% discount.
