ABU DHABI, UAE, October 5, 2010/PRNewswire/ -- For the third year in a row, Adrenaline Sports Live presented by RANI returns to amaze adrenaline fans with a series of exciting attractions; the festival organised by United Business Media runs from the 7th - 9th of October 2010 in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
This year, event organisers United Business Media and action sports organisation Dubai Desert Extreme (DDE) are proud to present the ’RAGE 10th Annual (Anniversary) DDE Champs’ competition, bringing together the best amateur skateboarders and BMX riders from around the region, to compete for the ultimate crown at the biggest event of its kind in the region.
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary, the longest running action sports event, RAGE are also bringing some of the best Professional skateboarders and BMX riders from around the world to do Demo’s for the spectators, which should be an exhilarating display of extreme skateboarding, BMX biking skills and stunts. The competition will take place in the dedicated RAGE Skate Park which is being custom made especially for this event and will be equipped with various level of ramps and a half-pipe.
The competition, which runs for 3 days, will pit competitors against each other in two action sports disciplines: Skateboarding and BMX. Skateboarders will be divided into three divisions based on age and experience: Junior, Senior and AM-Pro, the latter specifically for the highest level of skateboarders and sponsored riders; while BMX bikers will be divided into Junior and Senior divisions.

This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the DDE Champs and we have some top-notch and very popular pro-riders joining us, like Clint Peterson, Jussi Korhonen, and Sam Beckett who are pro skateboarders, and Darryl Tocco and Drew York who are pro BMX riders. We even have legendary Zach Shaw joining us again, who was actually at our first event 10 years ago in Dubai."

Those interested in participating can do so through signing up on the RAGE website (http://www.rage-shop.com) and downloading the compulsory Waiver Form which needs to be signed by parents if the participant is under the age of 18. A full schedule of events and demo’s will also be available on line at the RAGE website. There will also be a compulsory helmet rule, so all participants must bring a helmet or hire one at the RAGE Skatepark at the Event.
Adrenaline Sports Live, presented by RANI will take place from the 7 - 9 of October in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi, and will run along side Barbican Turbo, the region’s premier custom car and bike show.
