ADACH To Show ’Zayed And The Dream’ In Dubai |

On the occasion of UAE’s thirty nine national day, the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) is organizing three shows for the historical musical play "Zayed and the Dream" at the Palladium auditorium in Dubai Media City. The shows will take place in December 3, 4 and 5 as part of the international tour for the play which started in Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Paris and London. With instructions from H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ADACH produced the show in 2008 in UAE’s national day in collaboration with Caracalla Dance Group of Lebanon. This work is an illuminating artistic vision inspired by the march of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder of UAE, and validated by the authenticity of the region’s heritage and roots. The play tells the story, set over several scenes, of a leader who carved his name in time. His fate dictated that he would encounter many difficulties, but his dream, which dominated his life, demonstrated his motivations and brimmed with the vitality of his virtues: patience, courage, truth and faith, goodness, wisdom and honor. And so the difficulties that plagued him fell away, and he submitted to the impossible, opening the doors to a renaissance and facilitating the construction and unity of people and their prosperity. Mohammed Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Advisor for Culture and Heritage at the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Director General of (ADACH) said "Late sheikh Zayed succeeded to establish the great union dream of the nation in less than three decades. He built a strong state with his unique ideas. He put the solid bases for UAE to be on the top of international positions which we are living today"
