ADNOC Group Of Companies Host Open Day At The ATI











The Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO), on behalf of the ADNOC Group of Companies, is hosting an Open Day for the students of the ADNOC Technical Institute, at the ATI premises in Abu Dhabi.

The Two-day event is part of ADMA-OPCO’s commitment and corporate responsibility towards the development of young UAE nationals. The objective of the event is to reward outstanding students for their academic performance and give them a clearer picture of what lies ahead of them by providing them with direct contact with oil & gas professionals from various fields.

Ali Rashid Al-Jarwan, ADMA-OPCO CEO presented awards to ATI students and professors at the opening ceremony, in presence of Fahim Kazim, ADGAS CEO, Abdul Aziz Al Hajiri, Member of ATI Board of Trustees, Omar Al Hamed, ATI Manager and a number of senior executives from ADNOC & Group of Companies. He also opened an exhibition illustrating the progress of ADNOC & Group of Companies business.

In his opening remarks, Al-Jarwan said ADNOC and its Group of Companies have always been at the forefront of manpower development in keeping with the UAE policy that places human resources as the key component of an endurable growth strategy.

He thanked the country’s leadership, the Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC), ADNOC, and company Shareholders for their guidance and support as well as all those who’ve contributed to the progress of ADMA-OPCO over the years, wishing ATI graduates continued successful careers in ADNOC and its Group of Companies.

Mohamed S. Al Qubaisi, Chairman, ATI Board of Trustees said in his message to the event that the institute, since its inception in 1978, has been playing a key role in meeting ADNOC core business needs while also contributing to the Emiratization of the national workforce in one of the UAE’s most vital economic sectors.

“Following the vision and leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and under the directives of His Excellency Yousef Omeir Bin Yousef, Secretary General of the Supreme Petroleum Council and ADNOC CEO, the Board of Trustees will ensure that ATI has the guidance and support it needs to continue to foster an effective learning environment and make the future brighter for the youth of our nation.”

Day two of the event will feature success stories to be presented by ex-ATI graduates at the exhibition.

ATI was established in 1978 to take part in the implementation of ADNOC’s nationalization policy. To date more than 2700 students have completed the graduation requirements from ATI in Process Operations, Mechanics, Electricity and Instrumentation Technology and are all employed at various levels in ADNOC Group Companies.
