Falcon Terrace Offers ’Best Seat In The House’ At 2011 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship

With the 2011 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship less than three weeks away, bookings are now being taken for the exclusive Falcon Terrace area at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

With superb views overlooking The National course’s magnificent 9th and 18th greens, Falcon Terrace guests can enjoy five-star hospitality comfort and unparalleled luxury as the Championship’s strongest-ever line-up contests the opening leg of the European Tour’s Desert Swing.

The premium Falcon Terrace package includes welcome drinks, a barbecue lunch, afternoon tea and a complimentary bar. Also included is priority parking, free access to the clubhouse and a souvenir official programme.

“The Falcon Terrace is the perfect location to experience the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, both in terms of viewing the action and also getting up close to the world’s best players as they walk through the area on their way back to the clubhouse,” said Faisal Al Sheikh, Events Manager, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), which organises the event.

As well as providing the ultimate Championship viewing point, a Falcon Terrace table – sitting on the lower level of the iconic falcon-shaped clubhouse - provides guests with an elegant and relaxed location to entertain business associates or friends as a who’s who of the world’s best golfers battle for bragging rights.

Running January 20-23, world number one Lee Westwood headlines an Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship field that also includes all four 2010 Major winners – Phil Mickelson, Martin Kaymer, Graeme McDowell and Louis Oosthuizen. Ulster’s Rory McIlroy, Paul Casey, a two-time Abu Dhabi winner, Ireland’s Pádraig Harrington and in-form Englishman, Ian Poulter, will also vie for the Falcon trophy.

Regular Championship tickets are priced at AED125 for a daily pass and AED400 for a four-day pass. Preferential rates of AED100 and AED300, respectively, apply to UGA members. Children under 18 will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Car parking is free during the Championship.
