Abu Dhabi Fund for Development achieves ISO certification in Information Security |

Abu Dhabi Fund for Development has achieved the ISO 27001 certification in Information Security Management System; the highest accreditation for information protection and security, from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Mr. Mohamed Al Suwaidi, Acting Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development expressed his pleasure with the achievement and stated that achieving this certification is a remarkable accomplishment for Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, It is a further addition to the Fund successes and it represents an incentive for further progress and development in the field of information technology. He pointed out that this certificate is an important milestone for the Fund’s effort, which inspires us to carry on maintaining the quality standards of the services. The ISO standards provide generally accepted good practice guidance on Information Security Management Systems designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information content and systems. This certification is an adoption of the best international standards for the management and follow-up system of information security, which includes improving the performance of IT section and raising the efficiency of work. It is noteworthy that the Fund has obtained ISO 9001:2008 Certificate of quality management system in 2008 which applied in all of the Fund actions that aims to provide economic assistance to developing countries in the form of concessionary loans, and administers the grants provided directly by the Government of Abu Dhabi. The Fund preserves the continuity of this application and development in accordance with the requirements of quality standards.
