Etihad Airways is once again sponsoring young leaders from all over the world to take part in the 2011 Mosaic International Summit in Qatar. The Summit will provide a selected group of young individuals with a unique opportunity to share knowledge and experience that will support their careers and communities.
Delegates from the Indian subcontinent, Africa, East Asia and the Middle East will spend 10 days in an exciting leadership development program, which includes world class speakers, leadership workshops and an opportunity to become members of a vibrant international network of young leaders committed to positive change.
Etihad Airways employees will be among those invited to apply for the opportunity to represent the United Arab Emirates at the summit which is being held for the first time in the Middle East.

Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales, Mosaic has two key priorities which are to create opportunities for young people of all backgrounds, and to promote cultural understanding between different people and groups.
Etihad has a long-standing relationship with Mosaic, and has, over the last three years, sponsored numerous initiatives, including the Mosaic International Summer School and the Mosaic International Awards.
“To witness the passion and ability of this growing network of young leaders is truly inspirational,” said Alison Taylor, Mosaic International Director. “Delegates from around the world have returned home after our previous summits with a conviction to become involved in local community projects, having a huge impact on those in need.

In addition to providing opportunities for delegates to develop leadership skills, the Summit offers a multi-cultural perspective of key global issues and works with students to address these in positive and creative ways.
A critical stage of the leadership program follows the Summit, when participants are supported in their leadership journey by Mosaic. Participants report back on their development and community work every three months for a year following the Summit and take an active part in Mosaic’s international network.
