Groupon (http://www.groupon.com) announces the launch of Groupon United Arab Emirates (UAE). Operating under the website http://www.groupon.ae, Groupon UAE will first serve Dubai and Abu Dhabi with live deals starting today and plans to expand into additional cities in future months.

Since its launch in November 2008 Groupon has led a worldwide movement in e-commerce, using the principles of collective buying to bring millions of dollars in new revenue to local businesses while saving more than $1.8 billion for subscribers. Groupon UAE joins the Groupon network which serves more than 500 markets and 43 countries.
