Hamriyah Free Zone Reinstates Support For The BIG Show 2012 |

Sharjah-based Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) has recently affirmed its support by signing up as VIP Lounge Sponsor of The BIG (Builders International Gathering) Show 2012 for the second time. Established in 1995, HFZA is one of the world’s fastest-growing free zones, with over 6,000 companies across 138 countries that utilize the free zone as a launch pad for their businesses. Its participation in The BIG Show is in line with Sharjah’s objectives to promote the city in the region and in other countries as an important foreign investment hub and to strengthen its status as the industrial backbone of the UAE, while serving as a link to the outside world. Its participation is also aligned with Omanexpo’s commitment to support government initiatives to provide incentives for foreign investors in its free zones and to create an environment that will be attractive for the construction industry. Director General of HFZA Rashid Al Leem said, "With over 6,000 companies from 138 countries within its precincts, Hamriyah Free Zone takes pride in its contribution to the economic growth of Sharjah and the UAE and its emergence as a growth engine of the local economy. The BIG Show, recognized as the biggest and most important event for Oman’s building and construction industry, will be held from March 19 to 21, 2012 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
