Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has met, today with, a number of economic ministers and government representative participating at the 7th edition of The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), the world-leading, emerging markets’ Foreign Direct Investors (FDI) platform.
Held under the theme “International Investment and Competitiveness”, AIM is organized by the Ministry of Economy at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the minsters of the Republic of Tatarstan, led by President Rustam Minnikhanov, who praised the economic and civilizational development witnessed by the United Arab Emirates at all fields. President Minnikhanov loaded Dubai’s long strides in development, which he described as “astonishing” due to the admirable achievements, vouched for by visitors and investors. He further noted that Dubai has reinforced its position as a preferred destination of investors who regards the city as an economic safe haven.
Ministers have praised the well-organized event that brought together some of the world’s top investors, experts and practitioners under one roof.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, CEO of Dubai World Trade Centre (DTCM) & Director General of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing Hilal Saeed Al Marri, Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development Mukhisa Kituyi, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce John Danilovich and a number of ministers of economy partaking at AIM.
