Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has issued Executive Resolution No (1) of 2017 on the formation of the ‘Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award’ Board of Trustees.
To be chaired by H.E Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, the Board will include Khalid Ali Bin Zayed Al-Falasi as Vice Chairman and Dr. Hassan Moustafa Mousa (Egypt), Dr. Mustapha Larfaoui (Algeria), Dr. Khalifa Rashid Al-Shaali (UAE), Ahmed Mosaed Al Osaimi (KSA) and Muna Darwish Busamra (UAE) as members. Moza Saeed Al Marri has been appointed the Secretary General of the Board.
The Resolution is effective from the date of its issuance.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer extended his cordial thanks and gratitude to Dubai Crown Prince, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council and Patron of the Award His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and to President of the UAE National Olympic Committee and President of the Award His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for trusting the board members to serve for the third consecutive term. He also thanked their highnesses for continuous support and guidance ensuring the Award’s success and achievement of its objectives being one of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
Al Tayer also extended his appreciation to the members of the Board of Trustees for their dedication and hard work.
He highlighted that the new Board of Trustees will include enthusiastic young members who will contribute to enhancing the board’s plans with creative and innovative ideas that would further establish the award’s position as a strong driver for excellence in the field of sports.
