The Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation’s entities will come together to celebrate 45th UAE National Day under the motto "Our Unity, Our Prosperity"
The Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) is already in the mood for National Day celebrations this year. The PCFC has got off to a remarkably early start to celebrate the much-awaited 45th UAE National Day.
To befit the occasion of the forty-fifth anniversary of the historic day when the United Arab Emirates was proclaimed, the PCFC has launched a wide array of events and activities which will span 45 days till December 20th.
The unprecedented “45 Days of Celebrations” jointly brings together Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation’s affiliated entities – DP World, Dubai Customs, Trakhes, Dubai Trade, Jafza, and Dubai Maritime City Authority – with one single theme “Our Unity, Our Prosperity”. The objective is to allow all members of the corporation to express their love and loyalty to this great nation that is unequivocally a unique role model in serving its people and caring for their wellbeing and prosperity.
Since the founding of the Union at the hands of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his brethren Rulers of the Emirates, the United Arab Emirates has over a few years made giant strides in progress and development. Thanks to the sacrifices and laborious efforts of our forefathers, today Emiratis and residents of this country are reaping the fruits of a glorious march, full of extraordinary achievements across all generations and all walks of life.
The PCFC has launched a hashtag #45daysofUAENationalDayCelebrations which conveys a number of messages to celebrate the birth of our union on December 2nd, 1971, the date which represents a shining landmark in the UAE’s history. As we all celebrate the 45th National Day, not only are we overwhelmed with joy and happiness but also with an even greater willingness to maintain the gains and successes achieved. Today all Emiratis and expats join their hearts together in love and allegiance to our giving nation and our visionary leadership, who have given their generous support to such projects and initiatives that seek to bring happiness to the population and harness their positive potentials to build a strong, sustainable society.
A 45-day extensive media campaign to be carried out by PCFC has already started on social media to engage larger spectrums of the public and staff who can share their joy through posting photos, expressions and adages inciting loyalty, nationalism and belonging.
Strengthening and promoting national identity amongst employees and the community is also a key element of the campaign program, which include targeted activities and initiatives to be held in each and every entity across the one and a half month of UAE National Day celebrations.
The PCFC is all set to stage a big official celebration of the 45th UAE National Day on November 29th, which will be attended by Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, DP World Group Chairman & CEO and Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, along with director generals, senior executives and staff of the entities under PCFC.
