Before Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, twelve judges at Dubai Courts and 14 judges at The Rental Dispute Settlement Centre sworn-in on Tuesday, at Zabeel Palace.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and H.E. Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council.
The new judges vowed to uphold justice, respect the law, perform their duties with integrity and devotion, and remain committed to honest practices.
Sheikh Mohammed wished them success in their assignments and in their mission to ensure justice for litigants. His Highness said that all people are equal, regardless of their nationality, race or countries of origin.
Mohammed. He also stressed the importance of establishing the principles of tolerance and settlement between litigants at courts because reconciliation is the best ruling in most cases.
The swearing-in ceremony was also attended by H..H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group; H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed; Mohammed Al Shaibani, Director-General of the Ruler’s Court; Taresh Al Mansouri, Director-General of Dubai Courts; Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director-General of Dubai Land Department, and Khalifa Sulaiman, Director-General of Dubai Protocol.
