Dubai Land Department announced that its platform at the 36th GITEX Technology Week was the point of attention of more than five thousand visitors who were interested in developments and modern technologies. At the same time, the platform attracted senior officials and visitors and obtained a prestigious international award. The DLD representatives provided a detailed explanation of the Department's applications and the visitors expressed their admiration for the developments achieved by DLD team for the service and development of the real estate sector in Dubai.
His Excellency Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of Dubai Land Department, said: "We were delighted to receive senior visitors and we were pleased with their praise for the role of the DLD and the excellence of its work in providing a pioneering and sustainable global real estate environment that makes Dubai the happiest city in the world. This confirms the achievement of our goals towards this global objective and motivates us to continue to develop our services up to the smart transformation and participation in Dubai Plan 2021.”
In addition, DLD presented its most prominent applications at GITEX 2016, namely “Dubai Brokers”, “Investment Map”, “Smart Payment” “Ejari Program” and “Smart Judge”, which impressed GITEX visitors.
A Prestigious Award
DLD won the “Best Interactive Digital Platform” award on social media for 2016 during the 12th edition of the ACN Awards facing more than 300 participating companies in GITEX 2016. This was due to its continuous work to keep up with the policy of Dubai Government, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in order to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world.
During its participation in this event, DLD confirmed its continuing efforts to provide all its services in smart ways. It offered an interactive platform this year relying on the various social media means by launching nine distinct applications, consolidating trust, innovation and happiness.
DLD allowed GITEX visitors to participate in this transformation through the latest applications and services promoted on the social media means. It was able to reach the largest targeted category through its interactive channels that attracted more than fifty thousand followers in addition to tens of thousands of customers and interested persons who downloaded its applications.
