Officials and staff of Dubai Customs have greeted the UAE mission to the Rio 2016 Paralympics in Brazil with a rosy welcome in gratitude for their unprecedented achievement.
The national Paralympic champions returned home with seven medals: two gold, four silver and one bronze. Customs inspectors and seniors at Dubai International Airport terminal 3 gathered to congratulate the crowned athletes and say thank you for the great honour they brought to the UAE disabled sports.
Ibrahim Al Kamali, head of Customs passenger operations at DXB terminal 3, said: “The accomplishment of our Paralympic champions is a source of pride for us at Dubai Customs. They deserve our deepest respect and appreciation for raising the nation’s flag high in international arenas.”
