Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is sponsoring the 20th Dubai International Holy Qur’an Award, named after the late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
The award includes lectures for both men and women, and foreign communities, which will be presented by a group of renowned scholars from around the world, and will be held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The prizes included in the award are greater than those anywhere else in the world.
DEWA’s sponsorship of the Dubai International Holy Qur’an Award, taking place on Sunday 12 June, adheres to the schedule of this year’s event. The event will feature a lecture by Sheikh Saad al-Ateeq from Saudi Arabia, on the ‘Secrets of Happiness,’ at Dubai Chamber.
